Well, we got Elani to talk and interact with Santa last night at our friend's house (Les & Pat). At first she didn't want to go near him, but he was very patient with her and she eventually talked and got Candy from him and even gave him a hug. He talked to her about the ornaments on the tree and she tickled his beard. Just look at these cute pictures of Elani and Santa. We've made some progress!

6 More Days Until Christmas
Can you believe it? This year has flown by and it's almost Christmas again. I'm ready, all gifts purchased, wrapped and sent out (to applicable recipients). Most of them are under the Tree already too. The last few are the stocking stuffers and the BIG things for Elani that won't be wrapped for her. I am still waiting for the final gift for Rudy to arrive, but it has been shipped.
Tonight we are taking Elani to a private viewing of Santa Claus at some friend's house (Les & Pat). Maybe she will be more receptive and accepting of the ol' guy tonight when there's no pressure of camera (oh yeah, I'll have mine with me), but you know.... Here's hoping anyway. I'll post pictures (bad or good).
I love getting Christmas Cards - I love getting Mail. We've received some really cute ones too from friends on the Jeff Gordon Network from all over the US and from our other friends too! My friend Sheryl is so creative, she wrote a poem telling us all about her family and how they will be alone with no children or grand children around this year. My other friend Terri in Tennessee and my friend Aldyne in Michigan make their Christmas Cards with rubber stamps and paper crafting..... I used to do that...... Wish I had time to do that again! All three of these friends are so creative and I love to see their ideas each year. Thanks ladies for putting a smile on my face! Aahhh another day is almost done..... Relax time!
